Pronova bag-filling systems are designed
to offer a complete solution and a low-cost alternative to form-fill-seal. The
systems open, fill and seal polythene and laminate bags incorporating a range
of optional features such as print, tamper-evidence and resealable closures.
Machinery features
Pronova machinery features cable-management in the form of aluminium profiles
that neatly hide cables and cords – making cleaning easy. A see-through
plastic hatch covers the sealing bars so the bags can be viewed clearly and the
operator can follow the whole bag-filling and sealing operation.
Each machine is designed to work with a range of accessories to create an integrated,
semi, or fully-automated packaging line. Available options include loaders and
conveyors for heavy products, product compression, top gussetting and thermal
transfer printing.
Pronova bag-filling systems
The Pronova range, manufactured in Sweden includes compact models for manual
filling of lightweight products, heavy-duty units for high output and a stainless
steel version for food packing.
The Pronova system works with a continuous chain of pre-formed bags. The bags
are fitted with channels, allowing them to run along two fixed guide rods. Using
no moving parts, they support and open each bag at the point of filling –
the bags are then heat-sealed to close.
